Update #09 - NTU Elective Reviews Needed

To put it simply: we need your help.

We've uploaded all the Elective Notes and Resources available to us. Now we need your help.

Please help to review the modules you have taken, and help the next NTU Kiddo to make an informed decision about his modules.

You can attach it in the comments of the Elective Course Code. To facilitate and streamline this process, here's a suggested template:

Name of Module: CM8002 Forensic Science
Semester taken: AY 15/16, Sem 1
#01 Module Format:
3 hours weekly lecture. 1 mid-term quiz (35%); 1 final exam (65%); no class participation.
#02 Module Workload: Easy
Not much work needed to be done, except to prepare for the quizzes and final exams. Online segment during the holidays made workload during the semester easier as well.
#03 Lecture Content & Lecturer: Very good
Prof Roderick Bates was extremely entertaining, making a lot of jokes with a straight face. Content of the lecture was extremely engaging, although there were some gruesome images been shown during lecture (like Huang Na's crime scene). Overall, extremely interesting module.
#04 Ease of Scoring in Module: Difficult
Finals were extremely tricky because MCQs were very similar, and there was little room for error. Lots of people taking this module as well, making it extremely competitive.
#05 Should I take this module? Other comments/ advice?
Yes, because it's very interesting and enjoyable to learn in this module. You can take the online segment which grants you 2 AUs which will be pass/ fail. The last segment is 1 AU only, which means even if you don't do well, the implications on your cGPA is minimal.

We hope the reviews help you better make a decision on the module. Help share the word with your friends to review, and submit their notes to: ntukid99@gmail.com
