LG9001 - German Language Level 1
Description:
You will acquire a working knowledge of the German language, as well as an introduction to socio-cultural aspects of the German speech community. As such you will learn to introduce yourself and talk about family and friends. Other topics are food and drink, house and apartments, daily schedules, hobbies and the weather. You will also learn basic grammatical concepts, such as the German sentence structure in the present tense, the articles, plurals, the nominative and accusative case, separable verbs, adverbials or time and frequency, negations, conjunctions, and important adjectives. When studying LG9001 you will also be trained in all four language skills, namely reading, writing, listening and speaking. The content is taught in 36 contact hours and equal to the proficiency level A1.1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
